Bit of background about myself. I currently work for SAP in the BusinessObjects group and am responsible for the Engineering Team producing the Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) product which is part of the EPM for Finance range. Previously I led product development at ALG Software which was acquired in 2006 by BusinessObjects and then SAP.

One of my long standing interests has been virtualization technology and I have spent many years working with VMware products. In 2006 I helped judge the VMware Ultimate Virtual Appliance Challenge, and have been an active beta tester of VMware products for many years. I was also a reference when VMware launched the ACE and Server products. I also have worked on networking scripts to manage advanced network configuration in VMware Fusion, and am interested in the virtualization of Mac OS X to allow portable development environments.

Before entering IT, I was a Biochemist, studying at University of Oxford and a member of Keble College.
